            CARREFOUR is an international supermarket chain founded in France, having 11.080 stores in 30 countries, 868 of them being hypermarkets. The first Carrefour hypermarket was opened in Bucharest in 2001 and since then it has became one of the main locations for shopping.

            The hypermarkets don’t require a card at the entrance, the voluminous products are delivered at home, the kinds have their special carts, including the new born babies and the credit cards are accepted for payment. Clients can arrive easily to any of the Carrefour hypermakets and some of them even provide special lines of transport, operating daily from 05.00 to 22.00 every 15 minutes. The price is 1.5 Ron (almost 0.55 Dollars or 0.4 Euros) one way.
