          In Bucharest museums are an almost mandatory destination and represent a solution for finding out more about Romanian way of life in a short period of time. A tour of the most important Bucharest museums should include: the National Art Museum, Antipa Museum of Natural History, Museum of the Romanian Peasant, the open-air Village Museum, Art Collections Museum, Museum of the City of Bucharest, Cotroceni Palace Museum, City Museum of Astronomy, National Military Museum, Minovici Museum of Ancient Western Arts, Museum of the Romanian Music, History Museum of the Jewish Comunity, Museum of the Armenian Community etc.

 

           Usually for visiting Bucharest museums there is a nominal entrance fee and the multi-lingual guides are available on request at no charge. It is good to know that most of the Bucharest museums are closed on Mondays and some even on Tuesdays.
